Build Feature: Eastern Suburbs Cricket Club

Eastern Suburbs Cricket Club have been an institution of NSW cricket for over 130 years, with several grounds in the Newcastle and surrounding regions.

They can now also lay claim to the region’s best pitch mower, meticulously restored in the club’s colours.

Rescued from their tool shed after a life of solemn service, Easts approached us with a vision of making this a flagship of their grounds maintenance fleet.

With club members responsible for grounds maintenance, we opted for the best quality parts, and those that minimised the need for maintenance – the MowParts Oz centrifugal clutch for example, negating the need for periodic clutch servicing and adjustment.

With a Weihle front roller, brand new 8-blade reel and shaver bottom blade, those playing on Easts’ prepared wickets will notice the difference this season!
